Determining Rate Class
Insurance companies determine premiums based on several factors, including
health and risk related issues. Information below outlines general
guidelines that most insurance companies use to classify customers, the four
major classifications are:
Preferred Plus, Preferred, Standard plus, and Standard.
If you do not meet one or more of the requirements listed in the Preferred
plus, Preferred, or Standard plus columns, please select "Standard" when
calculating your quotes.
If you have a health impairment, not listed here, insurance rates higher
than standard may apply.
If you could take a moment to determine which classification applies to your
lifestyle, we will be able to assist you in locating the lowest premium.
